Paula Biedma Fierro has performed as a soloist and with chamber groups in many different cities throughout Europe and America. She has appeared in venues such as the Brooklyn Museum (NYC), Teatro Alcalá, Madrid (Spain), Real Coliseo Carlos III, El Escorial (Spain), Casa Da Música, Óbidos (Portugal), and Fundación Gilverto Alzate Avedaño, Bogotá, (Colombia).

Mrs. Biedma studied with teachers Anatoli Pouvznov and Nino Kereselidze in her hometown, Madrid. She graduated with honors from Conservatorio Superior de Música Padre Antonio Soler in San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid), winning the "Premio Fin de Carrera" award. Mrs. Biedma received a Master in Piano Performance from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford under the tutelage of Professor Luiz de Moura Castro. In addition to her music studies she majored in History at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

She has participated in many music festivals in Europe such as Cursos de Especialización Musical de la Universidad de Alcalá de Henares (Spain), SIPO (Portugal), Curso Internacional "Nueva Generacion Musical" Ciudad de Lerma (Spain), among others. She has attended masterclasses and performed for prestigious teachers such as Rosalyn Tureck, Vitali Margulis, Boris Berman, Ferenc Rados, Andrzj Jasinski, Claudio Martinez-Mehner and Lucca Chiantore.

Mrs. Biedma is a passionate and experienced music educator. In 2012 she joined the piano faculty at Turtle Bay Music School, one of Manhattan's oldest musical institutions, and she maintains a thriving private studio in New York City, where she currently resides. She's also a member of the Piano Teachers Congress of New York and she regularly participates in workshops and masterclasses.
